Terms for using RemoveMyEXIF
Clear terms for free, browser-based metadata tools that process supported files locally.
Effective: July 14, 2026
RemoveMyEXIF provides free browser-based tools for inspecting and removing supported metadata from images, PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MP3 files.
File processing runs locally in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
Use RemoveMyEXIF only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
You are responsible for checking output files before sharing them when metadata removal is important.
We collect limited technical analytics to maintain reliability, understand usage, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Details are provided in our privacy policy.
First-party analytics stores coarse Cloudflare country and derived browser or device categories rather than raw IP addresses or user-agent strings. Google Analytics is also used for website measurement. Analytics never includes your files, filenames, file contents, or the metadata found inside them.
RemoveMyEXIF is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
Although we aim to remove supported metadata reliably, we are not liable for incomplete removal, file issues, or downstream use of processed files.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
