Changing a PDF's page set can add or remove visible information, but it does not redact content inside a page you keep. Review the finished PDF and its metadata before sharing.

About splitting PDFs locally
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Reading, splitting, cleaning, ZIP creation, and verification all happen in your browser.
How do I enter page ranges?
Use commas between outputs, for example 1-3, 7, 9-12. Each comma-separated range becomes a separate PDF.
Does splitting remove PDF metadata?
Yes. Each output is cleaned of supported document properties, XMP metadata, file identifiers, and application metadata, then checked again.
What happens to forms, bookmarks, and signatures?
Interactive fields are flattened before pages are copied. Bookmarks are not preserved. Digitally signed and encrypted PDFs are rejected.
