The tool is deliberately conservative when a movie structure is unclear.
Does cleaning reduce video quality?
No. The tool does not decode or re-encode video or audio. It verifies that media-data boxes remain byte-for-byte identical.
Does it remove GPS coordinates from iPhone MOV files?
It removes recognised QuickTime metadata and user-data location fields, including ISO 6709 location values stored in supported metadata boxes. Review visible location clues separately.
Why might a video be rejected?
Malformed, incomplete, non-movie, or unsupported box layouts are rejected instead of producing a possibly broken video. The original is never changed.
