Supported cleanup
The tool removes dedicated Office property parts and verifies that the presentation remains structurally present.
Removes author, last editor, title, subject, keywords, revision, and stored document dates.
Removes PowerPoint application details, company fields, template data, and custom properties.
Removes the embedded preview and normalises internal ZIP modification times.
Checks that the presentation part remains and removed property links do not return.
Know the boundary
Presentations can expose private material in notes, comments, hidden slides, and off-canvas objects. Review those separately.
Where it helps
A finished deck can still carry author, company, template, editing, preview, and application details inside its PPTX package.
Clean supported metadata before posting slides to an event website, public archive, learning portal, or media page.
Remove dedicated author, company, last-editor, template, custom-property, and stored date fields before external handover.
Strip package properties, the embedded preview, and internal ZIP timestamps before adapting a company presentation for another audience.
Common questions
Presentation metadata, speaker notes, and hidden slide content are separate privacy concerns. This tool targets only the first.

No. Hidden slides, media, links, custom XML, and other presentation content stay outside the metadata-cleaning promise.
No. This release supports PPTX only. It does not convert legacy presentations or remove macros from macro-enabled files.
